Shaquem Griffin Drafted by the Seattle Seahawks

Shaquem Griffin, University of Central Florida linebacker was drafted on Saturday by the Seattle Seahawks. Griffin, a Florida native was the 141st overall pick, in the fifth round.

Griffin didn’t only make news because of his hard work and talents. He will be the first NFL player to play with one hand according to the NFL.com. He lost his left hand at the age of 4 to a rare condition called amniotic band syndrome, which stunted the development of his hand, according to a 2012 Tampa Bay Times article.
