Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints RB Replaces Suspended Mark Ingram

In the wake of Mark Ingram's four games suspension for allegedly testing positive for drug violation, Alvin Kamara is ready, able and expected to filled that slot. Luckily for the Saints, they have two outstanding No. 1 running backs (RB). Kamara's teammates refer to him as a workhorse running back.

Kamara, 22-year-old, 5′ 10″, 215 lbs, who is entering his second year in the NFL is an Offensive Rookie of the Year which was awarded by The Associated Press. Kamara finished the season with 120 carries for 728 yards and eight touchdowns with 81 receptions for 826 yards and five touchdowns. Kamara who played college football for the University of Tennessee and was drafted by the Saints in the third round of the 2017 National Football League Draft.

Kamara's parent were born in Liberia and migrated to the United States to escape Liberia's Civil War, which claimed about 250,000 lives. Kamara's family Liberian tie and relationships have given him an expanded perspective of the world around him. He has a 33-year-old sister, Garmai.
